Teaching of language develops some basic skills such as - reading, writing, listening and speaking. By writing we put down on paper or on other surface certain meaningful marks or symbols which can be understood or accepted by the community members. Writing serves as a check on his foregetting useful items of knowledge. It is a useful means of organising thought. According to Gandar, "Writing has an instrumental value in school - it is a means of preserving the knowledge which the pupil has gained or the judgements he has formed." Language has its written part through which it expresses its ideas. Alphabets are put together in appropriate and different combinations to generate a word.
