Characteristics/Ingredients of a good Lesson Plan

A good lesson plan must have the following characteristics :-

(i) It should be in written form.

(ii) It must ensure continuity of the lesson.

(iii) It should indicate methods and techniques of teaching to be imported of various stages of the lesson.

(iv) It should achieve the aim of the lesson.

(v) It should not a rigid.

(vi) It should keep to the fixed time of the period in view.

(vii) It should be psychologically developed.

(viii) It should consider the individual differences.

(ix) It must have well constructed and suitable questions should be asked at various steps ans stages.

(x) It must have arrangements of required aids before the lesson.

(xi) It must follow the devices of correlation.

(xii) It should provide home assignments for the students.
