The differences between S.G.S.Y. and the three main roles of axioms are :
(a) S.G.S.Y. under the scheme, any role or group can start self-employment projects, whereas Swayamsiddha is only for the empowerment of women.
(b) While the goal of S.G.S.Y. Swayamsiddha is to provide self-employment, the goal of Swayamsiddha is holistic development of women which includes provision of social and literacy components.
(c) SGSY also encourages individual self-employment, while Axiom only encourages women who have formed groups.
