Feminism is a concept and practice (feminists do not only talk about equality between men and women, but they also emphasize on the achievements of feminism, broadly defined, it is a kind of consciousness that tells those women are suppressed. Feminism not only believes that women are oppressed, it also believes that consciousness should be created about this oppression and something should be done actively to bring about change. When women’s rights and self-esteem are undermined, feminists raise questions and protest. Feminists reject the idea that biological differences between men and women should be based on it. Feminists employ such concepts as patriarchy, male dominance, female subordination and oppression of women, which clearly show gender discrimination. And the interesting thing is that the society does not call these activities as economic activities. The slogan of feminists is that all women are workers and they should be considered as important as any other work.
