Answer -
‘Social development’ means acquiring the ability to behave according to social requirements.

Definition of social development

Factors influencing social development
Social development is affected by one or the other factors. The factors affecting the social development of the child are as follows :

School : School has a profound effect on the personality of the child as they spend maximum time in the school. The teacher takes the place of the parents. Autocratic environment in schools affects social development and democratic environment helps in social development.
Family : Child becomes a member of the family as soon as it comes out of the womb, his socialization starts. The family influences this process.
