Nature of English Language

Language comes next to food. We are so intimately familiar with it that we take it for granted as we do breathing or walking.

According to Edward Spair : “Language is a purely human and non-instinctive method of communication ideas, emotions and desires by means of a system of voluntarily reduced symbols.”

English, originally the National Language of the English people. We do not have clear nations about the nature of language even in present time. The Spanish Emperor Charls V has expressed the opinion that English I was the proper language of commerce, Grammar for warfare, French for women, Italian for friends and Spanish for the worship of God. In our country Sanskrit is considered the most scientific language. The nature of English Language is given bellow :

1. English language has its own phonology. There are 26 letters in English and 44 sounds. These phonemes (Sound) are divided into two kinds voices and consonant.
   Further vowel is divided into two kinds–pure vowel and diphthongs. As a matter of fact English is the easiest language of expression.

2. Language limited to human being.

3. These are four skill in English language. They are :
   (A) Reading 
   (B) Writing 
   (C) Speaking 
   (D) Listening.
