Such IEPs include short-term and long-term teaching objectives, learning steps, activities and reviews to ensure that the program is implemented effectively. Teachers should evaluate the effectiveness of work and try to gather opinions of pupils for improvisation and betterment.

(ii) Peer support program : Teacher may train pupil to perform better in a certain subject to become 'little teachers' and act responsibly to help their classmates or schoolmates with learning difficulties in group teaching and self study sessions. This program helps pupils reinforce their knowledge and developed their communication and co-operation skills as well as good interpersonal relationships.

(c) Help pupils understand the effect of their behaviour on others and themselves.
(d) Keep close contact with parents to find out the cause of pupil's behaviour problems.
(e) Help pupils build self-confidence and a healthy self-image.
(f) Give positive reinforcement to pupil's good behaviour and not pay undue attention to their misbehaviour.
(g) Refer exceptional case to counsellors/teachers for follow-up if the behaviour problems of pupil's continue or become serious.

(v) Development of Generic Skills : Teachers should help pupils develop good learning habits and attitude such as completing the assignments tidily, keeping their promise and be responsible and disciplined. A constructive attitude is important for life-long self-learning. Teachers should train pupils to establish good interpersonal relationship so as to facilitate effective communication and collaboration as well as to enhance the team spirit of pupil's. Pupil's can be taught to solve problems by different methods. Using tools or by drawing insight from their past experiences would help develop pupil's flexibility, creativity and independent thinking.
