Activities for the Enhancement of Speaking Skills

In the process of English language learning, students should be made capable in English language learning. Teachers should be aware for a long time. Generally some pupils are structurally competent but they cannot communicate properly. In order to overcome this problem the processes involved in fluent conversation interaction are -

1. The pupils who are incompetent in spelling, they should know the structures that the linguists teach.

2. Being appropriate is something different from being structurally correct, finds its place within a mode of thinking. This new mode of thinking gives new directions to English language teaching.

3. Make sure that every pupil is prepared.

4. Understand your purpose.

5. Opinions should be supported with evidence. If a discussion is made on a book, follow-up questions should be asked.

6. Care about each question.

7. High energy level and enthusiasm is maintained.

8. Preparing things in advance.

9. Be aware of practical and logistical issues.

10. Whenever possible, use mapping technique for providing conceptual and visual structure of ideas.
