The statement is worth-quoted that “Nothing is so fatal for a teacher as unpreparedness” by Davis. According to this statement the preparation of the lesson is as important in teaching as lesson planning. It has been come across, in course of teaching, that pupil teachers prepare many lesson plans before going to the class-room for teaching and they are seen reading lesson plans only. In teaching the class-room, they spend most of the time in recitation, model and imitation reading. In this way, any how, they spend 30 to 35 minutes.

So it is essential, much attention should be paid to the pupil teachers that they should not prepare more than two lesson plans at a time and they should go to the class-room for teaching with well preparation.

Need and Importance of Lesson Planning in English
A Lesson plan is actually a plan of action. It therefore includes the working philosophy, of a teacher his knowledge of a philosophy, his information and the understanding of his pupils, his knowledge of material to be taught and this ability to utilise effective methods.
