Psychologists have expressed the following views regarding positive transformation :

According to Serenson : “This person learns to that extent from transfer. The extent to which abilities acquired in one situation are helpful in another.”

(2) Negative Transfer : When the learning of one subject present difficulty in the learning of another subject, it is called negative transference. For example, those who are students of science, they experience difficulty in understanding art subjects. In negative transfer we get to see that the performance of the suit. Some psychologists have presented their views regarding negative transference which are as follows :

(3) Horizontal Transfer : This transfer is both positive and negative. In which a different kind of ability or knowledge is helpful to another ability or knowledge to be learned. This transfer takes place between two subjects in a class. Such as the use of mathematical knowledge of a class 10 student in the study of physics. This transfer is called a positive horizontal transfer. Conversely when one subject or skill creates a barrier in learning other subject, it is also called horizontal transfer, but this transfer is negative.

(4) Vertical Transfer : It includes both positive and negative transference. A longitudinal positive transfer is said to be a position when a position has been earned, knowledge or skill related knowledge should prove helpful in acquiring skill later on. Conversely longitudinal negative transfer is said to be a situation when the acquired knowledge and skill related to the same situation makes it difficult to acquire knowledge and skills related to the same situation in the future.
