Cognitive Development in Childhood
The cognitive development in childhood would have been of the following type:

Six Years : In this stage, the child can speak counting from 10-15 without stopping, story answering, easy questions and tell the names of different parts of the body. In a picture is shown to him, he can describe the objects made in it and can tell them similarities and dissimilarities between them.

Seven Years : In this stage, the child is able to differentiate between two objects. He starts describing small incidents, using complex sentences and trying to find solution to simple problems.

Eight Years : At this stage the child acquires the ability to repeat short stories and poems, speak sentences of 16 words without any mistake, answer 5 or 6 questions on a paragraph story and solve everyday problems.

Nine Years : In this stage, the child gets knowledge of day, date, month and year. Monthly he is able to repeat 6 to 7 words in reverse order and tell 5 to 6 rhyming words. He starts using common words and can tell about 70% of the things he has seen in the movie.

Ten Years : In this stage, the child can speak 60 to 70 words within 3 minutes. He gets a little knowledge of the rules, traditions and information daily life.

Eleven Years : At this stage, the powers of reasoning, curiosity and observation are sufficiently developed in the child. Apart from this, he can gain knowledge by observing animals, birds, insects and parts.

Twelve Years : By reaching this age the power of reasoning and problem solving are more developed in the child. He also has the ability to explain difficult words and give reasons for simple things.
