Question- State the types of individual differences.

Answer-

We see them differently depending on the difference found in individuals. The following are some of them :

(1) Physical Differences : On the basis of person’s stature, complexion etc. we can observe difference in many ways.

(2) Mental Differences : Some person are intelligent, some ordinary and some foolish. Apart from this individual differences are found in the same person in infancy, childhood and adolescence.

(3) Difference in Impulses : Under this, some people are generous, some are harsh and some are angry.

(4) Difference in Interest : The interest of different people is also different like some one likes cricket and some watch movies.

(5) Difference in Learning : There are some children who learn a task quickly. Some learn in normal time and some take some time.

(6) Difference of Opinion : Different people may also have different views on a single issue. Some are in his favour and some are against him. Like minded people are hard to meet.

(7) Different in Dynamic Ability : Under this, there is a difference in the personality of individuals, due to which some people are skilled and some are less efficient.

(8) Difference in Special Abilities : This means that there is a difference in the art and skill of all the people.

(9) Difference in Character : The surrounding environment has a great influence on the character. Different people have different character.

(10) Difference in Personality : A person can an introvert, a person can an extrovert, a person can has both types of qualities.
