Literacy - Literacy has a general meaning - Alphabet knowledge or script knowledge. It is related to the written side of the language. This includes both writing and reading. In English, it is called Literacy, which is related to Writing, Reading and Arithmetic which is called in short (3-R). It is important and essential for every person in modern times. Today, the aim of the literacy campaign going on in the world is that every citizen should be so capable of writing-reading and maths knowledge that he can make full use of them in solving the problems of personal and professional field of daily life.
Difference between Education and Literacy

Relationship between Education and Literacy
In spite of the above-mentioned substantial differences, there is an inextricable relationship between literacy and education and the goal of both is one and that is - To make human life more and more civilized and cultured. To reach here, the first step is literacy and the second step is education, both of which are helpful and complementary to each other.
