बीए सेमेस्टर-5 पेपर-2 अंग्रेजी - सरल प्रश्नोत्तर

Question- Write a' character sketch of Ram Chandra.

Answer-

He is Dalits, the true working class of India, the true sons of the soil, was Rama Chandra. He was a lightly built, overtly pigmented guy, resident of the village Danapur. He was educated and worked as a foreman in a private company, situated at the industrial area near Ghaziabad. Like any other human being he had his expectations and aspirations. But despite having faced abject penury and soul-killing abuse, which would certainly have justified if he had resorted to dubious means or theft or even violence, Rama Chandra had always been a man of conscience, not someone who would stray from his principles for his personal gain.

Rama Chandra always felt sick about the unacceptable timidity that had homed in the Dalit psyche since centuries. He had always been filled with revulsion seeing his community quietly accepting the mistreatment meted out to them by the upper-castes and OBCs, just because they were born untouchables by fate. He could never believe in a religion that forced Dalits to do the dirtiest of menial jobs, something their masters belonging to higher castes couldn't even think of.

And he never liked his name as it smelt of the worst kind of slavery to him. He always felt peeved with his parents for christening him as Rama, as the higher castes people had always denied people of his community access to Lord Rama and Lord Rama had never punished them. Sadly for him Dalits were still carrying the burden of that culture and religion, through their names of which they were always an integral part, to provide free labour, but never an important part.
