Manier times students due to societal constraints or financial issues find it difficult to continue with their higher education. When students cannot make it to their dream colleges situated in big cities, MOOCs help them to fulfill their desire to upgrade their knowledge within the limitations the society sets for them. When the formal education system fails to provide better employment opportunities to the students, after school or college, MOOCs allows the students to develop certain skills needed for employability. With the help of MOOCs, students have been able to improve their perceptions, communication, quality of their education and have even generated certain skills like critical thinking, self-learning etc. The results the students attain shows direct relation between the impact of teachers responsibility and students satisfaction in higher education.

MOOCs provide multi-dimensional benefits. Students can replay lectures for better retention and understanding of concepts. The students are exposed to other styles of teaching and class discussion, their key skills are reinforced and the learning gaps often created in a conventional classroom setup gets filled. All in all, MOOCs has excited a significant influence on the society by turning the students especially adult learners more equipped to face the challenges posed to one and all in this competitive world.
