Question- Write a short note on National Repository of Open Educational Resources (NROER).

NROER is a project of OER which was launched by Ministry of HRD, Government of India with a collaborative effort of Central Institute on Educational Technology, NCERT in collaboration with Department of School Education and Literacy the repository supports education via audio, video, images and textual document on various topics in different subjects which are broadly mapped in 5 categories which are Math, Science, Social Science, Languages and Art Education. One can click on a particular category for a detailed listing of subjects. Each subjects as a listing of concepts. Various resources are collected and created around those concepts. Teachers can access audio, video, learning objects, images and question banks, activities and presentations etc., related to those concepts. They can also upload resources which will be subjected to review by experts. In addition to accessing and uploading resources, NROER allows teachers to downward, share comment and rate media resources. Encourage members to adhere to principle that protect freedom, sharing, collaboration, and socially acceptable protocols.
