Aims and International Importance :- English claims to be the first rate international language. It can even be called a universal language. It is the language through which we can exchange our views with the people of other countries. Its study provides the establishments of international contacts between different nations of the world. Its study gives an opportunity to get employment not only in own country but also in another countries. By extending the radius of a person’s horizen, it overcomes his prejudices, intolerance and narrow-mindedness. Thus, it is very helpful in fostering true internationalism. Hence its knowledge promotes international understanding.
