Gender discrimination and inequalities continue to exist in our society, the process of socialization and reproduction of gender discrimination in society can strengthen the school process. The process of teachers’ experiences and their socialization in relation to gender discrimination may be transmitted unconsciously to the students in the classroom. Learning about gender-bias and gender discrimination at an early stage in school can make an indelible impression on the mind of the students. It is therefore appropriately necessary that the school text books and other related materials as well as the curriculum and the procedures carried out in its practice are imbued with the principles of gender harmony and inclusiveness in all spheres.
