Question- What is the difference between patriarchal and matrilineal families?
Answer -
Societies in which the generations of families are connected and proceed on the basis of the lineage of the father are called patriarchal families whereas the families in which the generations are related and proceed on the basis of the lineage of the mother are called matrilineal families.
