Gender is a learned behaviour, so it can be named as gender socialization. Gender socialization is a process in which a person learns certain gender norms, behaviours and identities.

The term ‘sex’ (gender) refers to the biological differences between men and women; For example, their clearly visible differences in their reproductive and related functions of giving birth. Whereas ‘gender’ is a matter of culture. It refers to the social classification of ‘masculine’ and ‘feminine’ (Adapted from Feidman 2002, p.15). Gender includes social relationships labour, power, emotion and language. Gender is interpreted in different ways.
