Question- How techniques can be used to encourage creativity ?

Answer-

The following methods and techniques can be used to influence creativity in students -

(1) Brain Storming Method : This method was given by Asberm in 1963. Creative children can be encouraged under this method. Teachers and counsellors work in small groups, a problem is placed in groups. All the students are encouraged to express as many ideas as possible for their solution. The teachers write down all the ideas quickly. In the end, all the ideas are discussed one by one freely and respectfully. Thus in the end the most suitable solution to the problem is accepted. In this way, each student gets a chance to generate as many ideas as possible. Creative children are identified using this method.

Law of Brain Storming Method : They are as under :

(1) All students are encouraged to express their new and original ideas.

(2) Ideas are appreciated as well as they are gladly accepted.

(3) Write down all the ideas expressed. The work of writing can be done by any one person who has the ability to write quickly.

(4) In the end, all the ideas are discussed one by one. It would have been a friendly discussion.

(5) Imaginative problem solving, development of new ideas in law students is very useful for the development of creativity. Expression skills can be taught to children by proper use of this method.

(2) Problem Solving Method : The aim of problem solving method is to give knowledge through problem. Students acquire knowledge by solving the problem. In this way the knowledge gained by experience is useful, meaningful and real. Real problem is selected by students. All students compile data related to the problem. Teachers provide students with knowledge of the source of material collection.

After getting all the information related to the problem, it is properly restructured and evaluated. All solutions derived from the data are discussed. They are used to check the validity of the final conclusion. In this way students learn to solve the problem themselves. This method also proved very useful in the development of intellectual social qualities of the students. The selection of the problem in the solution method should be done very carefully. We should take special care of the following things to solve the problem:

(1) The problem must be related to the prior knowledge of the students.

(2) The problem should be real and interesting.

(3) The problem should be clear, definite and solvable.

(4) The problem should be commensurate with the age of the students, physical and mental abilities.

(5) It must be tailored to the curriculum.

(6) The problem should be such that students get an opportunity to collect data by doing maximum work using maximum mediums.

(7) The problem should be such that the knowledge of the students increased and given opportunities for learning.

(3) Group Discussion : Creativity can be developed through group discussion. Group discussion can be done in many ways such as informal, formal discussion, conference etc. Multiple thinking can be developed through discussion. Multiple thinking is considered the basis of creative thinking. In a group discussion any problem is discussed that conclusion can be drawn through discussion. Under's goal should be clear. He should motivate the counsellor to express the idea by asking maximum number of questions by ensuring maximum participation of the students. Through group discussion, students get an opportunity for oral expression, which enhances their ability to creatively express their self confidence, original thinking organization of ideas collaborative work in a group and effective expression of ideas.

(4) Play Method : This is a natural action. Through games many things can be taught to the students in interesting and entertaining ways. In this method, spirit freedom of expression, pleasure, cooperation, self restraint, difficult situation, self-control, tolerance, judgement and development of inequalities help in building creativity. Similar games are arranged in school in which children are encouraged to participate. Some special play methods such as kinder Garten. Montessori allow children to learn on their own with the help of equipment with this, children learn things in a complete way through play. It also encourages creativity in them.

(5) Quiz method : Through this method, such experiences are provided to the children which they would not normally get in real life. Creativity can also be developed through this method. Creative and talented students can used this method to enhance their talent.
