Social Development During Adolescence
Adolescence comes in such a way that the social sphere becomes very wide. Along with physical, mental and emotional changes of social development, are also necessary.
In Adolescence, he tries to organize himself in social situations, The following is the nature of social development in this stage :
(i) In adolescence first of all, the feeling of friendship towards, their class group is developed which means that boys make friend with girls and girls only with girls, when there is a boy and a girl then they get attracted towards each others.
(ii) Both the boy and the girl live in their own groups. The groups at this stage are not like the groups of childhood. The purpose of these groups is mostly entertainment such as picnic, dance, music, tour etc. Boys and girls live in their own groups separately.
(iii) In the adolescence, the experience of living in society is gained and sometimes conflicts or differences happen with their parents. If the parents try to mold their life according to their own ideals or insist them by presenting the moral ideal before them, then the spirit of rebellion flares up in the new blood.
(iv) At this stage the desire to behave equally becomes strong in him and due to the experience of maturity, he also gets the knowledge of fulfilling, his responsibility towards the society, due to this social qualities start developing in him.
