This method requires laboratory.

Psychological experiment essentially needs two persons - the experimenter (or experimenters) and subject (or subjects) on when the experiment is performed.

Under this method conditions or variables are controlled to eliminate the irrelevant conditions.

Problem is identified and hypothesis are formulated. Distinction is made between independent and dependent variables. Situational variable are controlled, results are analysed and hypothesis is verified.
