Social Order - By social order we mean the social order that has developed in the country from different sub-social orders. The social order of the country is the social order such as religion, polity, economy, education etc.

Main Characteristics - The main characteristics of the social order are as follows :

1. The social order of a country comprises of its polity which includes administration, rights and responsibilities of citizens and responsibilities of the government. The social order develops as a result of discrimination in varna, caste, religion, gender etc.

2. The social order develops in accordance with the economy of the country. Industrialization and urbanization leads to social balance on the basis of economic and emotional parameters.

3. Education plays a vital role in the social transformation of the country. Social order and education are dependent on each other. An improved social order affects education and an improved level of education transform the social order in a country.

Sub-social activities such as culture and religion also contribute towards the development of social order in addition to polity, economy and education.
